Music/soundtrack research
Further research has gone into the soundtrack of our Film Noire. Music is an extremely important aspect of our film so requires further research. Music can determine the entire mood of the movie and even though sometimes people do not notice it, when it isn't there or the soundtrack choice is poor it is very apparent.
Below is a link the a track by Miles Davis called Generique which has a smooth, spooky sounding trumpet with dark sounding bass in the background, perfect for portraying this Film Noir

'its 1945, the city is being swallowed under the mist that covers the city. The lone detective, in search for his partners killer stands and waits. Waiting, he feels, is all he can do, his killer seems long gone. Until this day where they meet for the first time'.
(quotes below are dubbed over the soundtrack used in the trailer, syncs in and out within the trumpet and the drums)
0:15 - 'they used to call this the city dreaming spires'
0:42 - 'nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, time to face the music'
1:12 - 'i've got the cure in my pocket, do you want your life'

New Film poster
We originally went for the 'minimalist' look for our poster, but then decided against it. We realised that our original poster would be better for after the film had been released and when the public already knew what it was. This way with the new poster it is more clear to the public that we are advertising a film.
